New Cambridge College has been preparing GRE aspirants in Chandigarh since 2010. GRE Verbal is the most challenging section for Indian students. New Cambridge College’s Verbal training begins with systematic vocabulary development — building 3,000+ high-frequency GRE words through etymology and context rather than random memorisation. Reading Comprehension covers argument analysis, purpose identification and inference across dense academic passages. Text Completion and Sentence Equivalence drills build contextual reasoning beyond pure vocabulary recall.
The Quantitative section tests Class 10-level math in unfamiliar, time-pressured formats. New Cambridge College uses a concept-first approach — complete mastery of arithmetic, algebra, geometry and data interpretation before timed problem sets. Special attention on Quantitative Comparison questions, which require a distinct strategic approach from standard problem-solving.
With the Argument Essay removed, only the Issue Essay remains. AWA is scored by both a human rater and an AI system. New Cambridge College trains students on the Issue task through a structured argument-construction framework: clear thesis, specific examples, acknowledgement of counterarguments, strong conclusion. Model essays at 5.0 and 6.0 scoring levels are studied and discussed. Timed writing assignments receive detailed written feedback.
